Refund & Return Policy
1. Who this applies to
“Consumer” means an individual buying mainly outside their trade. Business buyers may have different terms if agreed in writing.
2. Fourteen-day cooling off (distance and off-premises)
If you bought at distance (online/phone) or during an off-premises visit, you usually have 14 calendar days from the day after you receive the goods (or, for a service, from contract day) to cancel without giving a reason.
- How to cancel: email support@biashlogisticsltd.uk or write to our registered office with your name, address, order reference, and clear statement that you wish to cancel.
- Deadline: the cancellation is on time if sent before 24:00 on the 14th day.
- Returns: we will give you the return address and instructions. You must send goods back within 14 days of your cancellation unless we offer collection.
- Refund timing: we refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of evidence you have returned them, whichever is earlier. We may withhold refund until goods are received.
- Deductions: we may reduce the refund if the value of the goods is diminished by handling beyond what is necessary to establish nature, characteristics, and function.
- Delivery costs: standard outbound delivery cost is refunded; if you chose a premium service, we refund the standard equivalent unless we stated otherwise pre-contract.
Some products are exempt from cooling off (e.g. made-to-order goods, sealed audio/video/software once unsealed, perishables) where the law allows — we will flag exemptions at checkout where they apply.
3. Thirty days — faulty or not as described
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If not, you may reject within 30 days of receipt for a full refund, or request repair/replacement within the first six months (consumer presumptions may apply).
- Report: contact support@biashlogisticsltd.uk with photos or a short description of the fault.
- Evidence: we may arrange inspection or use an independent engineer for vehicles.
- Outcome: repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on timing and proportionality.
4. How refunds are paid
Refunds are made to the original payment method via our payment processor (typically Stripe). Card networks usually credit your account within 5–10 working days after we issue the refund; timing depends on your bank.
5. Vehicles and high-value goods
Additional mileage, documentation, and handover checks may apply before a refund is confirmed. We will not unreasonably delay where your statutory rights apply.
