Reservation terms
These terms explain what happens when you reserve a car by paying a reservation fee. They are separate from any finance or purchase agreement you may sign later. If anything here conflicts with information you were given only by word of mouth, these written terms take priority for the reservation itself.
1. Words used in this page
Unless we say otherwise, the phrases below mean:
“Viewing” — a date and time we agree for you to see the vehicle in person (see section 7).
“Us” / “we” — BIASH LOGISTICS LTD, trading through this website and at our premises.
“You” — the person paying the reservation fee and asking us to hold the car.
“Hold” / “reservation” — taking the vehicle off open sale for a short period while you arrange a viewing, under these rules.
“Sales paperwork” — the document(s) we use when you actually buy the car.
“Going ahead with the purchase” — signing our sales paperwork so that a binding sale exists.
“Reservation fee” — the amount you pay online or by phone to start the hold.
“The car” — the specific vehicle shown in the advert you reserved, including passenger cars and light vans or pickups where we list them.
“Working day” — Monday to Friday, not including public holidays in England and Wales.
2. What these terms cover
They only deal with the reservation fee and the short hold period. They do not replace a full sale contract. Anything we have not written down here does not change these rules unless we both sign a separate written change.
3. When reservation is offered
We only offer this where the listing on stocklist clearly shows a reservation option for that car. If the advert does not mention it, this process does not apply.
4. Paying the fee
You can pay through our checkout at https://www.biashlogisticsltd.uk, or using the phone number printed on the same advert as the car. Other payment routes are not accepted for the reservation fee unless we tell you in writing.
5. What we need from you
The card used must be a debit card in your own name. We also need accurate contact details so we can confirm the hold and the viewing:
full name;
full postal address;
phone number;
email address.
6. How long we hold the car
After your payment clears, BIASH LOGISTICS LTD will keep the car reserved at our location for twenty-four (24) hours. We may agree a longer window only as described in section 7.
7. Booking a viewing
Within twenty-four (24) hours of payment clearing, you must contact us to fix a viewing time. Unless we agree something different in writing, that viewing must take place within seven (7) calendar days. You can arrange it either by:
calling us using the number on the advert or our main line; or
using the contact or booking tools on https://www.biashlogisticsltd.uk.
8. If you buy the car
If you come for your viewing and then complete our sales paperwork for that same car, we will put the reservation fee towards the price shown on that paperwork.
9. If you decide not to buy
If you attend the viewing and tell us on that same day that you do not wish to proceed, we will return the reservation fee to the debit card you used. We aim to do this within five (5) working days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
10. When the fee is not returned
If you miss the steps in section 7 (booking and attending as required) or section 9 (telling us on the day you are not buying), we may keep the fee and will not refund it.
11. One hold at a time
You may not run two active reservation holds with us at the same time.
12. Reservation fee is not a deposit
Paying the fee does not mean you have bought the car, and it is not a part-exchange or finance deposit. A sale only exists after separate sales paperwork is completed.
13. Rights of other people
Only you and we may rely on this agreement. Nobody else can enforce it, and the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply.
14. Law that applies
These terms are interpreted under the law of England and Wales.
15. Courts
You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive authority for disputes about this reservation process, where the law allows.
16. Your legal rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, nothing here removes protections you already have under compulsory consumer law.
